ELD x MOVE IT partnership
1 February 2024
East London Dance is thrilled to announce an exciting partnership with MOVE IT, the world’s biggest dance event.
As part of this partnership East London Dance will be hosting rehearsals at the Talent House for MOVE IT headliners and Faces of MOVE IT, between now and the event in March.
Additionally, both organisations are working together to offer local east London schools free tickets to attend the Friday evening Main Stage Hip Hop showcase event. To date over 260 free tickets have been offered to schools for this year’s event through the MOVE IT forward scheme. If you know a school that would be interested, check out the information below*.
We’re incredibly excited about this year’s line-up and especially thrilled to see east London artist Bismark Anobah headlining at the event, alongside familiar faces at the Talent House such as Olu Alatise and Seeta Patel. So it’s with great pleasure that we can share an exclusive discount offer for tickets. Use the code ELD10 to get 10% off standard entry tickets here.
MOVE IT Bursary:
If you’re interested in dance and need financial support to come to MOVE IT, the MOVE IT team want to support you. The MOVE IT Bursary enables young dancers (aged 16+) the opportunity to attend MOVE IT on a day of their choice and immerse themselves in this magical experience. From VIP tickets, free classes, merchandise vouchers, free photoshoots, travel cost expenses and more. If you are a participant, you can apply for this yourself and if you’re a teacher/guardian/school you can nominate someone you think will benefit from this bursary. We will contact successful bursary applicants in February. Apply here.
*The MOVE IT Forward campaign is back, in 2023 20 schools were sent to MOVE IT for free, with the kind donations of event visitors. This year we’re looking for local schools around East London and Newham who we can support and offer free tickets to. This campaign has limited availability so if you think you’d benefit from this offer, please contact kelsey.boyd@immediate.co.uk
