Black History Month Commission

This Black History Month East London Dance invited UK artists to produce a creative response to the theme: SALUTING OUR SISTERS

We had some fantastic applications, with artist Sarah Lisney ultimately being awarded the commission and we are delighted to share “ONE”, a beautiful spoken word and dance piece filmed at the Talent House.

“This piece is an expressionism of celebrating all our sisters. From friends to loved ones, we are all Queens in our realms and shall continue to support and uplift one another 💐” Sarah Lisney
