East London Dance is thrilled to announce a partnership with Kloé Dean and Myself UK Dance to curate a brand-new programme of Adult Street Dance Classes at our state-of-the-art home, The Talent House from spring 2022.

“East London dance is here to champion and grow east London’s dance scene, so as we open the doors to The Talent House it is crucial that independent artists and their choices are directly shaping how we work and what we offer for our creative communities and the public.

Kloé has been teaching, choreographing and performing at the highest level for over a decade. She knows what dancers want and need from a class and we are excited about the choices she is making to build this programme of dance activity at The Talent House.”

“Street dance, hip hop and funk styles have always allowed me to express myself.

My aim in curating this programme of classes is to share and build on the beautiful energy that the dance community and these styles have to offer, and to continue and grow its legacy, by providing our communities with access to the fundamental skills and dance vocabulary of these styles.

Through these classes, beginners can develop street dance styles from the ground up and learn choreography in an encouraging environment, as a fun way to keep fit, make friends and build dance skills.

Those with any level of previous street dance experience, can join together to enhance their skills, gain some new ones, maintain the styles they practice and try new approaches in our All-levels classes.

Drop in’s or regular attendance are welcomed and catered for and you can expect an incredible atmosphere fuelled by the space, the music, and of course the artists I have chosen to teach.

The teachers are all experts in their field with a passion for the style and music they dance to. They bring a high energy and fun approach to sharing their craft and are committed to creating a safe and inclusive environment where you can push yourself and shine.

I’m looking forward to launching the programme with East London Dance and can’t wait to share details of the teachers and dance styles we have got lined up for you.”

Our Covid-secure Adult Street Dance Classes will go on sale via our Classes Page in late January and start at The Talent House from late February 2022.
