A big welcome to our School21 placement
8 January 2016
East London Dance is thrilled to welcome Geraldine Legester (Gem), a year 10 student at School21 based in Stratford, who will be working with the East London Dance team from November 2015 – March 2016 as part of the Real World Learning project.
The Real World Learning Project gives the students at School21 the opportunity to encounter a practical working environment, creating a learning experience that is richer for both student and the organisation. Students will work to solve an authentic challenge that is identified by the organisation and work towards providing a solution, delivering a final product at the end of their placement.
For East London Dance, Gem is looking into reinvigorating the regular dance class programme and is redesigning an entire brand for the classes offer. Regular class activity has been temporarily placed on hold whilst we consult on this matter, but watch this space for the re-launch of the classes programme in autumn 2016!
Welcome Gem and we look forward to working with you into 2016.
