16 July 2014
East London Dance is proud to announce that we have been confirmed as part of Arts Council England’s National Portfolio for the next three years. We will continue to receive our current level of funding of £241,391 per year for 2015-18.
Polly Risbridger, Director of East London Dance says:
“I am delighted that Arts Council England has continued to show support for our work across east London bringing incredible artists and our vibrant communities together in exceptional dance experiences. It has been a year of change at East London Dance following my appointment as Director last August, and I am very much looking forward to developing our creative ambitions with our fantastic partners, stakeholders, artists, audiences and participants.”
Paul Reeve, Chair of East London Dance says:
“We’re very pleased that Arts Council England continues to recognise East London Dance’s superb work and, in testing times for the arts sector and public funding, to endorse and invest in our exciting future plans. This is good news for the communities and the tens of thousands of people with whom we engage every year, and for the many professional East London artists whose development we support.”
