Workshops

We are able to provide a range of workshops in any dance style; from street dance to swing you’ll have access to our diverse artist database. Whether it is a one-off workshop or a long-term programme of classes, we have experienced teachers that can adapt their approach for people of all ages and experiences.

Case Study

One Movement Copper Box Festival
Client: East London Business Alliance

One Movement Copper Box Festival was a test event at the Copper Box, one of the brand new venues in the Queen Elizabeth Olympic Park. East London Business Alliance produced a full day of activity, on 21 April 2012, for young people from the Olympic boroughs to come and experience a range of sports and physical activity and test out the new venue that was used for Handball during the Games.

East London Dance delivered a back-to-back programme of dance workshops including street dance, Bollywood and contemporary. The dance teachers were joined by our youth b-boy group, The Firm, who worked as peer mentors and showed off a few of their moves to inspire the other young people.

“Your dance leaders were inspirational and I could see lots of young people having an amazing time (and very few leaving the dance area to try the other sports!).”
Hazel Durrant, Programme Manager Culture, East London Business Alliance
