Ever wanted to put on a cultural event for your community, but don’t know where to start?

This April East London Dance is offering completely free community co-design sessions with the ultimate aim of curating a series of cultural events at two City of London community centres.

Sessions will cover a different part of producing cultural events – event programming, marketing strategy, and evaluation – to help build your skills, knowledge, and confidence.

These co-design sessions, led by East London Dance producers Gemma Griffiths and Aanchal Gupta, will delve into the art of curating unforgettable experiences and your input and feedback at these sessions will help us determine what events to share with the community later this year.

Full details of those sessions will be shared soon.

If you want to find out more about the process and share your ideas with us in advance of these sessions, then we want to hear from you! Click below to book yourself into an informal half-hour online meetings with our producers.

No producing experience is necessary to take part and we are especially interested in hearing from people who live or work in the City of London.
