Join Creative Collective and help shape the future of East London Dance
This is an exciting time to join East London Dance’s Creative Collective.
We’re recruiting three new members to join an ambitious group of creatives, critical friends and change-makers who are helping shape the future of East London Dance.
Apply HERE by 10am on Monday 27 July.
Now entering its third year, Creative Collective is evolving from an advisory group into an active part of East London Dance’s governance. Working alongside our team, CEOs and Board of Trustees, members will help implement key organisational priorities that have already been developed and agreed, ensuring ideas turn into meaningful action.
Together we’ll focus on two strategic areas:
- Diversity, Equity & Inclusion (DE&I)
- Business Development & Income Generation
We’re looking for people who are curious, collaborative and committed to creating positive change. People who ask thoughtful questions, challenge with care, enjoy working collectively and aren’t afraid to think differently.
You don’t need to work in dance to apply. In fact, we’re keen to bring together a broad mix of perspectives, experiences and expertise.
We’d love to hear from artists, producers, teachers, freelancers, students, entrepreneurs, community organisers, researchers, activists, creatives and people who simply care about culture, creativity and the communities of east London.
We’re especially interested in hearing from people with experience or expertise in:
- Income generation, fundraising or business development within the third sector
- Disability leadership and disability justice
- Diversity, Equity & Inclusion (DE&I) Governance, trusteeship or organisational leadership
- Community engagement and participation
- Partnerships and relationship building
We particularly welcome applications from people from African, Caribbean, South Asian and other Global Majority backgrounds, Disabled people, and people who live or work in east London, helping ensure Creative Collective reflects the communities we work with and for.
If you’re passionate about helping organisations grow, creating fairer opportunities, influencing decision-making and turning ideas into action, we’d love to hear from you.
