East London Youth Dance Company (ELYDC) Auditions
Developing the next generation of dance talent in east London through training, coaching and 1-2-1 support.
We are looking for dedicated and driven young dancers aged 13-17 to join East London Youth Dance Company (ELYDC)
The audition on Wednesday 24 April will be a group session and we strongly recommend coming to one of our two taster sessions in advance.
Across Summer Term 2024 the company will be led by professional choreographer Dominic Hamilton and focus on Hip Hop style of dance. If accepted, company membership is free and termly sessions will take place every Wednesday evening 5:30-7pm. Sessions will focus on training and preparing choreo for public performances.
Successful company members will:
- Develop dance skills and learn new styles
- Create, collaborate and perform with other young people
- Work with professional choreographers and talented dancers
Intermediate, dance experience is required, if you are not sure that includes you make sure to come to one of the taster sessions in advance of the audition.

Please note a parent / guardian / carer will need to sign the participant up. You will need to register for your chosen taster session date and the audition date separately.
