Resources for Covid-19 Support
9 April 2020
We hope you are doing well and keeping safe. As we all face ongoing uncertainty over the coming weeks we want to let you know that the East London Dance team is still here working remotely to offer support where we can to our artists, participants and wider community. We believe arts organisations, creativity, partnership and perseverance will play a big role in navigating these difficult times and we are in this together.
Like all arts organisations we have had to postpone all in-person programmes, but we are in contact with our participants through digital platforms, to keep the community spirit alive. In order to retain our vision for the future of the charity beyond Covid-19, we must furlough some staff and so will be working at a reduced capacity. Regardless, we are here for you if you want to get in touch by emailing office@eastlondondance.org.
Support for Young People
We recognise this is a stressful time for our young people, their parents, carers and siblings and would therefore like to offer support from our new full time Youth Support Worker – Amanda Brown. Amanda will be on call to offer moral support to you and your family. You can email her at hello@eastlondondance.org or text her on 07732 492410 to arrange a call.
