With stunning staging and a variety of dance styles, you can catch exceptional homegrown and international talent. Every performance is FREE and unticketed – just show up.

Join us for this celebration of dance as we present these brilliant artists:

As, Was, Is by Chandenie Gobardhan and Shawn Aimey

This electrifying showcase of locking, explores universal themes of struggle and perseverance,  delivering an intimate and emotional reflection on the need for connection and empathy.

2.25 pm & 4.15 pm | Mid Terrace, Queen Elizabeth Olympic Park, E20 2AQ | 13 minutes

The Aunties: The House of Masks by Olúwatósin Omotosho

Meet the aunties, the fearless and fabulous women we all recognise; armed with harsh judgements, unfiltered opinions and secrets of their own.

Through a dynamic blend of theatre, dance, poetry, and music, this piece dives into the tension between cultural expectations and modern identity.

Expect laughter, jaw-dropping movement, and moments that hit close to home. With Black cultural dance styles including a fusion of street dance, hip hop and African dance, The Aunties: House of Masks isn’t just a performance, it’s a celebration of resilience, identity, and the unspoken truths hiding behind the smiles at family gatherings.

3.15pm & 5.40pm | Carousel Room, Queen Elizabeth Olympic Park, E20 2ST | 20 minutes
