About the Takeover:
To celebrate the launch of Artist of Tomorrow – a brand new Community Interest Company dedicated to creating cultural spaces, championing visibility, and opening professional opportunities for artists of colour – Chris and his community will present a rich and diverse showcase of cultural creativity, cultivated across diaspora communities over the last decade. The takeover will bring together three flagship platforms CARAVAN, The Midnight Train, and Maharlika UK, under one unified programme.

Over the last 10 years we’ve been building something unexpected. I started as an artist carving space for own my creativity to exist in the world, and now I’m leading these safe spaces because there simply aren’t enough opportunities for us to thrive in here London. Artist of Tomorrow is our way of making sure the work we’ve created continues, and goes even further.” Chris Reyes

- CARAVAN – Live music x Dance jams
- Maharlika UK – visual arts exhibition & short films by black & Filipino artists
- The Midnight Train – DJs & open deck night
- Coffee shop curations – free co-working space with wellbeing support
- Performance – New dance theatre work by Chris Reyes

OUR HOUSE is an East London Dance programme which hands over creative control of our programming to independent artists and collectives for a week at a time, to make the decisions within our artistic offer and curate activity at our home, the Talent House.
