BRAINWAVES

East London Dance

BRAINWAVES is a new paid artist development programme from East London Dance that builds the wellbeing, resilience and positive mental health of artists from the Global Majority*.

The programme which runs over 6 months aims to support the participating artists, who are teachers or regularly do outreach and community work, to confidently lead, create and support other artists, creatives and communities on their trauma and mental health journeys.

Through certified training, hands-on workshops and action set learning we aim to create a ripple effect of improved mental health and well-being within the dance industry.
