Together We Move – Dance Flashmob

Sat 12 Sep

Join our celebratory flashmob on the Queen Elizabeth Olympic Park this September 12th!

On Saturday 12th September we are inviting you, our community, to join us on the Queen Elizabeth Olympic Park, as part of the Music is Black Festival, for Together We Move, a dance flashmob.

Together We Move was co-designed by our Youth Company via the Hip Hop philosophy of ‘Each One Teach One’ – As such you can learn the short choreography in advance via the below video and we encourage you to share the choreography by teaching it to your friends, family or community and inviting them to join us.

We’ll be running an in person session on Saturday 12 September from 11.30am at the Talent House as part of our Family Fun Day, where you can learn or refresh the moves with choreographer Chaldon Williams, before heading over to the Queen Elizabeth Olympic Park with us for a 1.30pm performance.

From there you can join the festivities of the final live weekend of the Music is Black Festival with DJ sets on the park until 7pm and a dance party at Sadler’s Wells East all through the afternoon and into the night!

To join us at the Talent House from 11.30am sign up for free HERE (the registration link will be live from Wed 2 Sep)

Or if you don’t need a refresher of the choreo on the day, just turn up on the East Bank canal side, just next to Sadler’s Wells East, for 1.15pm to join in the fun!

Together We Move is funded by our amazing supporters via a Big Give crowdfunding campaign earlier this year and we want to extend a huge thank you to everyone who made this possible!
