East London Dance is hiring:
Youth Support Worker
We are looking for a committed and experienced person to join East London Dance as Youth Support Worker. This is a brand new post for the organisation and has been created to provide support to the young people engaging in our activities, enabling them to overcome barriers they may face to participating and ensure they fulfil their potential.
As part of the East London Dance team, you will provide frontline support for young people taking part in our activities as well as support the management and coordination of the programme activity. We do not expect you to be a dance specialist, but expect you to attend activities and be comfortable to join in and deliver youth work sessions as required.
You will have at least 3 years’ direct experience working directly with vulnerable young people, providing one-to-one mentoring and have a keen interest in building resilience.
- Salary: £27,000
- Full time
- Fixed Term for 12 months with the intention to extend subject to review
