Calling all creatives from the LGBTQIA+ community

We want to showcase your work as part of Queer Club, a celebration of the LGBTQIA+ community, curated by Ricky Jinks and Company Jinks as part of Mindful Movement Festival on Saturday 23 November at the Talent House.

We’re looking for 10 LGBTQIA+ creatives who would benefit from receiving free studio space to create a short solo or duet (in any form of art e.g. dance, spoken word etc.), that relates to the theme of our festival ‘Returning Home’.

You’ll be gifted 5 hours of exclusive studio space and up to 15 hours of shared studio space in the week leading up to Queer Club (18-23 Nov) to create a 5-7 minute work to share. Plus you’ll receive two group facilitation sessions to support your creative process and footage of your performance. This is a scratch sharing with a supportive audience, so we are not looking for perfection, just a commitment to celebrate LGBTQIA+ culture.
