Do you have an exciting creative idea you want to make a reality?
The Ideas Fund offers bursaries of up to £5000 to enable dance creatives to research, test and/or launch new artistic and entrepreneurial ideas. This could be a new idea or the development of something you are already working on.
We have brought together a consortium of partners who include some of the UK and east London’s leading creative organisations. Not only will this consortium be awarding cash investments, it will also offer access to in-kind resources including rehearsal space and membership schemes.
“Without this initial investment, and confidence that the Ideas Fund placed in me, I know I would not have achieved what I have” Ideas Fund Awardee 2017
The Ideas Fund is open to anyone over the age of 16 years with a great idea. It doesn’t matter where you are in your career – a great idea is a great idea, whatever your experience. We just want to know you have the ambition to make it happen. We welcome applications from dancers, choreographers, teachers, producers and creatives with an interest in dance. You can apply as an individual or as a company and applications from recent or new graduates are welcome.
