Continuum – An OUR HOUSE Takeover

Supporting sustainable careers from head to toe

Join The Fi.ELD (Future Innovators of East London Dance) for Continuum, a two day takeover of dance workshops, performances and panel discussions equipping early years dance creatives with knowledge and networks to create an environmentally and holistically sustainable career in the dance industry.

All tickets are a donation, we recommend £5 per event, but you are welcome to donate less or more!



Holistic Body Workshop

Join our specialist movement therapist Tamara Ann of ‘Movement’s Medicine’ for a thorough full body stretch session to reconnect your body and mind, learn how to prevent injury and create a sustainable future.

Environmental Sustainability Panel Discussion with Q&A

From technological advances to practical ways of reducing waste, how do we truly make a positive environmental impact in the dance world?

Join our panel of creative pioneers including Lucy Bird (Environmental Sustainability Officer at Rambert) to learn what radical action is being taken to foster environmental sustainability in the arts.

Worried about burnout and rejection in your career? Join our expert panel including Phoebe Constantine for an insightful discussion exploring how dance creatives can cultivate resilience throughout their careers. Further panellists to be announced.

Scratch Performance Showcase

Be the first to see inspiring works in progress from some of London’s most exiting up and coming dance and performance creatives, including Annie Kelleher and, Bea Franca. After each preview, join the artists for a conversation that will inform and support their next steps. Further artists to be announced very soon.

The Fi.ELD is a unique East London Dance programme funded by Esmée Fairbairn Foundation and supported by Sadler’s Wells, designed to develop the future innovators of dance, equipping them with skills and resources to make their ideas happen.

OUR HOUSE is an East London Dance programme which hands over creative control of our programming to independent artists and collectives to make the decisions within East London Dance’s artistic offer and curate activity at our home The Talent House.


Covid-19 Safety Measures at The Talent House:

In order to keep participants, audiences and staff safe, we have put the following measures in place:

  • We encourage all participants and audience members to take a lateral flow test before attending any events at The Talent House. Please note we may do full audience or participant lateral flow spot checks throughout the week of activity.
  • We ask that you bring a face covering for use whilst moving through the building and we encourage you to wear it whilst watching activity. It is not recommended to wear a mask when participating in dance activity.
  • When booking, you must declare you do not, at that time, feel unwell or have Covid-19 and that if you subsequently feel unwell, have any symptoms or test positive that you do not attend any OUR HOUSE events or activities.
  • If you miss the event due to testing positive or being asked to isolate, we are happy to refund your ticket if you email office@eastlondondance.org with evidence of the request or positive test registered with the NHS.
  • Our building is ventilated using fresh, un-recycled air and our studio spaces are complemented by air conditioning units to keep you cool. Studios will be aired between classes.
  • We have hand sanitiser points around the building for you to use.
